The artist draws inspiration from the poetic associations of dyeing industry and street names, collecting textile tools and fabrics to construct light and shadow sculptures. When light penetrates these objects, it casts silhouettes reminiscent of landscapes—interweaving the contours of Lion Rock, Mission Hill, and Kadoorie Hill with the city. As the light passes through them, it reorganises into shadows of mountains and water; this is no longer a mere depiction of reality, but an imagined landscape—a testament to the fluidity of the city—representing the reconnection between Hong Kong's manufacturing industry, urban life, and memory.
